Photo Session – Images

On the day of the session we got up at 4 am to get to the location on time and be ready by sunrise.

It was like having our own private beach, no one got up as early as we did on that day!

The girls had fun and I got the images I wanted.

Photo Session – Getting Ready

We’ll be leaving this area very soon and I wanted to do a photo session with the girls before we left.

I got the clothes ready.

I purchased some fresh flowers.

And did the session.

I’ll show you images from the session on my next post!

Panhandle Butterfly House

We visited the Panhandle Butterfly House.

My oldest girl got to learn a lot about butterflies during this visit.

The caterpillars were eating their leaves.

And the butterflies were fluttering in the garden.

Seaside is Beautiful!

We went to Seaside and it was beautiful!

 They had a farmers market.

Studios and shops.

Cute apartments.

A bookstore.

And the beautiful beach.

This is what we bought at the farmers’ market.

The Toad

My daughters found a toad and put him in a bucket.

The toad was patient and waited to be freed.

He seemed so serious, yet he didn’t seem to mind me taking his picture.

Eden Gardens

We visited the Eden Gardens State Park and it was magical. We were the only ones there!

There’s a Victorian mansion that was built in 1895 by lumberman William Henry Wesley. The mansion was restored in 1963 by Lois Genevieve Maxon.

Can you imagine how many people it takes to maintain a property like this!

The mansion is open for tours on some days, but it wasn’t opened when we visited.

I took the following photo through one of the windows.

ROPE! Why didn’t I come up with this solution to keep the house clean!

 Trees make children happy!

This little squirrel was cute. She reminded me of our old friend that would hang out around our property.

Very Green Smoothie

This is my new blender. My brother gave me this blender a couple of months ago and I love it! This is not “the famous blender,” but it’s better than my old one. I like the color, too!

 In this smoothie I put:

Pineapple
Spinach
Celery
Carrots
Filtered Water

It turned out very green. Sometimes when I add berries to the smoothie it turns more brownish. I like the very green color better.

 It was delicious! Try it!

Additions to the Blog

I had a little bit of time to work on my blog. I added a couple of pages “Decluttering and Packing” and “Sticks and Bricks.”

I want my blog to be easy to navigate, let me know if you have any suggestions!

Fun Weekend!

This weekend was fun! Amy, Lee and their sweet daughter came to visit and we had such a great time.

Amy and I worked on some homeschooling stuff, did circle time with the girls and then got both families together for a delicious cookout dinner.

We met our friends over a month ago but it feels like we’ve been friends forever! I love it when that happens. We have so much to talk about; life, family, homeschooling, health and more!

El Bebé Lindo!

This weekend we had our skype visit with El Bebé! I posted one of the skype visits we had with him when he was a newborn.

He’s growing so fast! Look at him now!

Can’t wait to hold the baby again!
